My husband was surfing the news on the CNN website today, and a story was featured that got me all choked up. It's about a woman who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma when her newborn daughter was just a few months old. Soon thereafter, the baby was diagnosed with a different type of cancer. I'm sure that I don't have to tell you that it's one of those stories that makes your stomach tense and brings tears to your eyes. When you feel like life is tough with your newborn or infant, it's a reminder that some are facing much greater challenges. Right now, my heart goes out to this family, and I feel very, very grateful.
